Digital art meets lung research! In fluid transitions, the lecture orated by university professor in support with visual artist, shows the realities of modern microscopic lung research and their AI-based transformation. Experience how science, art and deception blur. Because nothing is as impressive as images that play with our perception. Even more so, the scientific presentation uses an unconventional digital medium - Zeiss-Großplanetarium Dome, Berlin, Germany. Latest scientific research findings were presented in the full 360 Dome providing a full immersive multi-sensory experience to the visitors.

The lung is a vital organ, for whose research modern microscopy imaging techniques are used. Imaging microscopy methods produce signals that must be processed and modified in order to provide a wealth of scientific data - on the one hand. On the other hand, there is a risk of data manipulation, especially in AI-based transformation. So what is true, what is deception? The lung researcher Andreas Hocke and the media artist Sumeet Rohilla illuminate this border on the basis of high-resolution microscopy recordings and controlled light art. Together, we reported on modern lung research and blur the the border between science and art.
